Skeewiff. Since the release of their first album on Jalapeno Records, the label they founded has gone from strength to strength featuring releases from scene shakers Kraak & Smaak, Fort Knox Five, & IKON . Coming up soon is their 4th studio album which showcases their unique lounge funk style and features collaborations with Jalapeno label boss and DJ partner Trevor Mac, as well as Syde Dale, the legendary Alan Hawkshaw and others.

The press, attempting to define their style have coined Skeewiff's music as Lounge Hop. As well as clubs and festivals, Skeewiff's music appears far and wide in shows such as Entourage, Stephen Surjik's I Want Candy (2007), Barry Levinson's What Just Happened (2008), Will Gluck's Fired Up (2009) and Heston Bluthemtals In Search of Perfection (2007) and notably on a worldwide Nike ad campaign amongst a pile of other TV slots.

Elliot Ireland and Alex Rizzo have both grown up with the dance music scene but their releases as Skeewiff have always looked beyond the bleeps and squelches that rock most floors. Their music takes a firm glance in the rear view mirror towards Northern Soul and mod classics for inspiration. Its worth noting for the interested Al&El are also behind multi-platinum selling act Shaft.

On the decks Skeewiff's DJ style is an all encompassing funk breaks workout with the old and the new mixed up for the booty shaking crowds.
